The boat has dual-station hydraulic steering for ease of docking and work. The dead rise design provides for a sharp angle at the bow to cut through Bay waters. The angle flattens out as you move aft, towards the stern, to provide added stability while underway or at anchor. The design also allows for a shallow draft. The boat is in the process of a complete overhaul. The bottom was stripped for barrier coating and coppered. Replaced all stringers and ribs, self bailing deck has been completely fiberglassed. The forward cabin was removed and replaced. Complete refit including new raised collar boards, new deck framing, finished inside cabin, faired and finished topside and new running gear. The addition of a hardtop cover over the entire aft deck has been installed and fishing rod holders have been added. Extensive work and material have gone in to the refurbishment of this classic designed boat. This boat is ready to work and would be great recreational picnic, cruising or fishing boat. These work boats are most often used for crabbing, fishing and oystering on the Chesapeake Bay and tributary rivers and creeks.She has new electronics in 2015, with an all color Garmin 741 Tri-system, including bottom sonar, chart plotter-radar overlay and fish finder.
